Better then mountains can be only mountains where I have never been.Alpine skiing is not a sport, it is a life style. I understood it after my trip to Kirovsk, one of the most famouse ski resorts in Russia! In spring when the snow is the best for skiing,the hotels are packed with those crazy creatures which can't live without additional adrenalin in their blood. They live every day as it is the last day of their life... |

| It was my dream to take up skiing. |

| I thought about the feeling of speed and freedom |

| that was why I went to Kirovsk, a skiing resort in the Kola Peninsula. In fact, it is a grey industrial city with lots of smoke and soot. But the mountains there are really great! |

| It's me! I am standing near the cable way for children and still hesitating "To go or not to go. That is the question!". |

| After conquering that easy track I felt experienced enough to go up, to the top. I will never forget that way down. The slope was so sharp that I was nearly flying down! Here I am at the top of the mountain, unaware of all those difficulties! |
